The Cooper Firearms Model 22R is a bolt-action hunting rifle, and this modern-production example, serial CF31973R, is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 24-inch threaded barrel wearing a muzzle brake. It carries a Picatinny rail and a bipod mount, and it comes topped with a Nightforce SHV 5-20x56mm scope. The bore is excellent, the finish is very good with some wear, and the stock is very good with minor wear.

This is a long-range deer rig. A manually operated centerfire rifle is legal for Pennsylvania deer and bear statewide, 6.5 Creedmoor shoots flat enough for long shots across open fields, and the 5-20x Nightforce lets you see what you are shooting at when the light goes in the last minutes of a December afternoon. The season runs Saturday, November 28 through Sunday, December 13, 2026, Sundays included, with bear days November 21 to 24. The bipod mount earns its place in a field blind. Check the digest for the Special Regulations Area counties before heading out.
