The SIG Sauer SIG522 is a semi-automatic .22 LR rifle styled as a tactical carbine, and this used one has a 16-inch barrel with a bright bore and strong rifling. It has a side-folding stock and selector controls that work from either side. Overall condition is very good, and it comes in a SIG case. Serial number XA011173.

For a Pennsylvania shooter this is a practice rifle: it lets you run drills, teach a new shooter or spend a Saturday at the club on inexpensive rimfire ammunition with the same handling as a centerfire carbine. The side-folding stock makes it short enough to stow in a truck or a small safe. It is not a deer rifle under any Pennsylvania rule, but as a trainer it earns its place on the rack.
