A still-sealed box of 50 .38 Long Colt smokeless centerfire cartridges by Rem-UMC. Because the seal has not been broken, the fifty-round count and the contents are as packed. The listing grades the box as used, which in cartridge collecting describes an original vintage box rather than one that has been opened or shot from, and no date is given beyond the box markings.

Sealed Rem-UMC boxes are what Pennsylvania cartridge collectors want on the shelf, and a full fifty of .38 Long Colt in smokeless loading fills a common gap in a Colt revolver collection. Most owners leave a sealed box sealed; opening it turns a collectible into fifty rounds of old ammunition of unknown condition. If you own a revolver in this chambering, this is a display companion for it, not a range supply. Store it dry and out of sunlight so the label keeps its color.
