A US M3 fighting knife by Imperial, offered with a scabbard marked US M8A1 PWH. The knife and the scabbard are both US-marked military issue, with the maker stamp on the knife and the PWH marking on the M8A1. The listing gives no measurements or condition grade beyond used, so rely on the photos for the state of the blade, the grip and the scabbard body.

For a Pennsylvania collector of US military edged weapons this is a maker-marked M3 with a period scabbard, the combination most buyers look for, and it pairs naturally with a US service rifle or pistol display. Imperial is the maker named on this one, and to some collectors the stamp matters more than the knife itself. Check the scabbard throat and the blade for the usual wear before deciding whether it is a shelf piece or a user. Either way it is an honest fighting knife of its type.
