The Colt Double Eagle Officers ACP is the compact version of Colt's double-action .45, and this one was made in 1995. It is stainless steel with a 3.5-inch barrel, but unlike most compacts it keeps a full-size grip and ships with an 8-round magazine. Condition is very good and the original box is included. These are scarce. Serial number DF07277.

The Officers-length slide with the full grip makes this a Pennsylvania carry pistol for someone who wants a short barrel under a jacket but a hand-filling frame on the draw. Stainless steel stands up to the sweat and road salt of a Pennsylvania year better than a blued gun. For a Colt collector it fills a gap that few collections cover, because Double Eagles in the compact Officers size were never common.
