A Smith & Wesson Model 15-3 in .38 Special, made in 1972, with a 4-inch pinned barrel and a very good bore. It is a blued steel double-action revolver fitted with fancy grips. The finish shows honest wear with most of the blue still present, and a previous owner scratched the initials A.G.H. into the left side of the frame and again on the bottom of the left grip. The grips show handling wear. Overall condition is good. Serial number 3K15512.

The initials make this a working gun with a story rather than a collector piece, and it should be judged as a shooter. For a Pennsylvania buyer a 4-inch Model 15 is a classic home-defense revolver and a club range gun that will run any .38 Special load. Pennsylvania has no state waiting period and no permit to purchase, so the only paperwork is what the dealer handles at pickup.
